P-80® IFC THIX is a biodegradable temporary o-ring installation lubricant grease for Incidental Food Contact (IFC). It is especially useful in overhead and vertical assembly operations, where thick consistency eliminates overhead dripping. The P-80® IFC THIX dries within hours without a trace and never becomes slippery again, even in the presence of moisture.

P-80® IFC THIX Product Information

Used to temporarily lubricate pump seals, hoses, o-rings, bushings, gaskets, grommets, grips, and many other rubber and plastic parts. Compliant for incidental food contact applications when a thin film of lubricant is desired per FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 and is NSF-registered as an H1 lubricant.

This temporary o-ring installation lubricant gel does not contain silicone, alcohol, or petroleum distillates. Safe for use on most natural and synthetic rubbers, metals and plastics and safe for workers and the environment.

Available in a 10ml (0.33oz) tube with a resealable cap, it’s great for assembly kits, field use, or small jobs.
