UCON OIL HEAT TRANSFER 500, also known as polyalkylene glycol (PAG), is a synthetic lubricant used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications, such as power steering systems and heat exchangers. When exposed to UCON OIL HEAT TRANSFER 500, rubber materials can become hardened, leading to cracking and splitting. The oil can also cause rubber to swell, resulting in an increase in brittleness. Furthermore, the oil can cause rubber to become softened, leading to a decrease in strength and durability. In addition, UCON OIL HEAT TRANSFER 500 can lead to discoloration of rubber, resulting in further damage.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
