UCON Lubricant LB01145 is also known as n-propyl butanoate and is a solvent-based lubricant used in a variety of industries. It is commonly used as a mold release agent, a corrosion inhibitor, and a lubricant for high-temperature applications.
When rubber is exposed to UCON Lubricant LB01145, it can cause swelling, softening, and embrittlement of the rubber material. It can also reduce the tensile strength, tear strength, and elasticity of the rubber, leading to premature failure. In some cases, UCON Lubricant LB01145 can leach out of the rubber and cause contamination of surrounding materials. It can also cause surface staining and discoloration of the rubber material.
