UCON Lubricant 500HB0100 is a high-performance light-resistant hydrocarbon-based synthetic lubricant. It is commonly used in automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications, as it offers superior lubrication and anti-corrosion protection.
Rubber components that are exposed to UCON Lubricant 500HB0100 may experience swelling, softening, or cracking. The lubricant may also cause discoloration of certain types of rubber, and long-term exposure may lead to degraded seals and eventual failure. Synthetic rubbers are particularly vulnerable to attack from this lubricant, and should be tested for compatibility before use. Additionally, seals should be inspected regularly to ensure that they are not exhibiting signs of degradation.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
