TEXAMATIC A Transmission Oil is also known as Polyalphaolefin (PAO), and is used as a lubricant in a variety of automotive applications and industrial machinery. Common uses include engine oils, gear oils, and hydraulic oils. Common types of failures when rubber is exposed to TEXAMATIC A Transmission Oil include swelling of the rubber component, cracking, discoloration, and disintegration of the rubber material. Additionally, prolonged exposure to high concentrations of PAO can cause a loss of elasticity and lead to premature failure of the rubber part.
