TEXACO REGAL B is a synthetic oil that is used in a variety of industrial and automotive applications. It is a blend of hydrocarbons and other additives that provide superior protection and performance. Common uses of this oil include lubrication of industrial machinery and components, gear lubrication, hydraulic fluid, and many other industrial applications.
When rubber is exposed to TEXACO REGAL B, the rubber can become brittle, swell, and/or crack. This breakdown can be especially damaging when the rubber is used in seals, gaskets, hoses, and other components that must remain intact and withstand high temperatures. Other common failures from exposure to this oil include discoloration, loss of elasticity, and hardening of the rubber.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
