TEXACO Capella A & AA are synthetic lubricants that are commonly used in automotive, industrial, and other applications that require high performance and extended protection. They are also known as Polyol Ester (POE) and Polyalkylene Glycol (PAG) oils.
When rubber is exposed to TEXACO Capella A & AA, it can cause swelling, brittleness, and cracking of the rubber material. Additionally, the lubricants can cause the rubber to become less resistant to heat, chemicals, and other environmental conditions, making the rubber less durable. The lubricants can also cause the rubber to become more brittle over time, leading to premature failure.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
