Sulfur Liquors, also known as sulfuric acid, is a strong and corrosive acid used in various industries for a variety of purposes. It is used in the production of fertilizers, rubber, dyes, detergents, and pharmaceuticals, among other things.
When rubber is exposed to sulfur liquors, it can cause several different types of failure. The acid can cause the rubber to become brittle and crack, leading to premature failure. Additionally, the acid can cause the rubber to swell and lose its original shape, leading to a decrease in performance. Additionally, exposure to sulfur liquors can cause rubber to become discolored, making it unappealing.
