STANNOUS BISULFATE Resistant O-Rings and Seals

STANNOUS BISULFATE, also known as Tin(II) Sulfate, is a white crystalline solid that is most commonly used as a reducing agent in the production of inorganic chemicals, as a catalyst in organic synthesis, and in the electroplating of metals. Common types of failures when rubber is exposed to STANNOUS BISULFATE include cracking, hardening, and brittleness. The rubber can also become discolored and swell when exposed to the chemical, leading to a loss of flexibility and strength. Additionally, STANNOUS BISULFATE can cause the rubber to become brittle and prone to tearing. Moreover, the higher concentration of STANNOUS BISULFATE increases the chances of rubber failure and can cause a much faster degradation of the rubber material.

Fluorosilicone (FVMQ, FSIL)

Fluorosilicone o-rings are a hybrid of silicone and FKM resulting in great jet fuel resistance with high and low temperature performance. Also widely used in semiconductor Ashing equipment with strong resistance to oxygen plasma, FVMQ fluorosilicone o-rings also feature excellent flexibility, compression resistance, aging and sunlight resistance, and overall wide range of basic chemical resistance.
