STANDARD CLEAN 2 is also known as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and is commonly used as an anionic surfactant in a variety of cleaning products. It is also commonly used in rubber manufacturing as a wetting agent to promote adhesion and improve surface properties.
Common types of failures when rubber is exposed to STANDARD CLEAN 2 include swelling, accelerated aging, and chemical attack of the rubber material. Additionally, long-term exposure to STANDARD CLEAN 2 can lead to a decrease in the resilience of the rubber material and an increase in the vulnerability of the rubber to other chemicals.
