SOCONY VACUUM PD959B Resistant O-Rings and Seals
SOCONY VACUUM PD959B is also known as Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). This chemical is most commonly used as a lubricant in the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries. When rubber is exposed to this chemical, it can cause swelling and cracking of the rubber due to its solvent properties. It can also cause the rubber to become brittle and crack, leading to premature failure.
