SHELL DIALA is a high-performance oil used for a variety of industrial applications. Commonly known as Diala Oil, it is used as a transformer oil, turbine oil, and hydraulic fluid.
Common types of failure when rubber is exposed to SHELL DIALA include cracking and hardening of the material. This is due to the oil's ability to creep into the rubber and cause the rubber to become brittle and hard. This can lead to a loss of elasticity, which can cause the rubber to become brittle and easily crack. Additionally, this can also lead to a loss of adhesion, as the oil's ability to creep into the rubber can cause the rubber to easily separate from other materials it is adhered to.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
