PYDRAUL 230C, 312C, 540C, and A200 are all commonly known as plasticizers, and they are used in a variety of applications in rubber and plastic-based products. They are used in automotive, industrial, and consumer goods industries for seals and gaskets, as well as for fuel-resistant coatings and adhesives.
When rubber is exposed to any of these plasticizers, it can cause softening, swelling, and shrinkage of the rubber material. In some cases, it can also lead to discoloration and hardening of the rubber material. Prolonged exposure to these plasticizers may cause cracking, loss of strength, and eventual failure of the rubber material.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
