PHENYL AMINE Resistant O-Rings and Seals

Phenyl amine is also known as aniline, aminobenzene, and phenylamine. It is a commonly used chemical in a variety of industries, such as the production of rubber, dyes, and pesticides. The chemical is used in the production of high-performance rubber materials, such as neoprene and chloroprene, as well as for vulcanization.

When rubber is exposed to phenyl amine, it is susceptible to oxidative degradation. This can lead to a decrease in physical properties, such as strength and elasticity, as well as changes in color, due to discoloration of the material. Additionally, the chemical can cause rubber to swell, which can lead to cracking or splitting of the material.
