PETROL/BENZENE MIXTURE, 80/20% Resistant O-Rings and Seals
Petrol/benzene mixture, 80/20% is also known as mineral spirits and is commonly used as a paint solvent, degreaser and cleaning agent. It is also used in the automotive industry for fuel and lubricant production.
When rubber is exposed to petrol/benzene mixture, 80/20%, it can cause swelling, hardening, cracking and discoloration of the rubber. This can lead to an eventual breakdown of the rubber and its seals, leading to leaks and other failures.
