MOBILMISTLUBE SERIES Resistant O-Rings and Seals
MOBILMIST LUBE Series is a mixture of synthetic, semi-synthetic, and mineral oil based lubricants, designed for use in high temperature and high pressure applications. Common names for MOBILMIST LUBE Series include MOBILMIST LUBE 22, MOBILMIST LUBE 32, MOBILMIST LUBE 46, and MOBILMIST LUBE 68.
When rubber is exposed to MOBILMIST LUBE Series, it can experience a number of common types of failures. These include swelling, embrittlement, cracking, and breakdown of the rubber material. The lubricant can cause the rubber material to become soft and lose its elasticity and strength over time, leading to a complete loss of function. Additionally, the lubricant can cause the rubber to become brittle and break after exposure to the lubricant, leading to complete failure of the rubber seal. In some cases, the rubber can become permanently distorted from exposure to the lubricant and not function properly.
