MIL0S081087 is a synthetic oil blend that is commonly used as a lubricant and hydraulic fluid in a variety of industries such as automotive, aerospace, and industrial. It also goes by other names such as Mobilfluid 424, Esso Nuto H32, and Castrol Hyspin Awh-M.
When rubber materials are exposed to MIL0S081087, there is a risk of the rubber becoming brittle and subject to cracking due to its high viscosity index. Also, the oil blend can cause swelling which can result in a loss of material strength and elasticity, leading to failure of the rubber seal.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
