MIL0S03136 TYPE IV OIL is a high swell oil used in a variety of industrial applications, such as automotive, construction, mining, and manufacturing. Common names for MIL0S03136 Type IV Oil include MIL-L-2104C and MIL-L-46167.
Rubber materials exposed to MIL0S03136 Type IV Oil can experience failure due to swelling and softening, as well as cracking or hardening. Swelling can cause rubber seals to become weak and unable to maintain a tight seal, while softening can cause seals to become brittle, causing cracking and hardening. In addition, the oil can cause rubber to become sticky, leading to a loss of elasticity.
