MIL0S03136 TYPE III FUEL is more commonly known as JP-8, which is a kerosene-based fuel used for military aircraft. It is also used in some commercial aircraft and ground equipment. It is known for its high stability, low volatility, and low toxicity.
Rubber material can be damaged by MIL0S03136 TYPE III FUEL due to its high solvency, which can cause swelling, bursting, and cracking of rubber parts. Additionally, the fuel can penetrate into the rubber, leading to a breakdown of the rubber’s surface and a decrease in its tensile strength. The fuel can also cause discoloration and a decrease in the rubber’s elasticity.
