MIL0G04343 Resistant O-Rings and Seals
MIL-0G04343 is a type of silicone oil used in rubber and plastic applications. It is a low-viscosity, colorless liquid that is often used as a lubricant, release agent, and mold release agent. It is commonly used in the automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.
When rubber is exposed to MIL-0G04343, it can suffer from a variety of issues such as swelling, discoloration, or embrittlement. Swelling can occur as the silicone oil penetrates the rubber and causes it to expand. Discoloration can also occur as the rubber reacts with the MIL-0G04343. Finally, the rubber can become brittle and prone to cracking or tearing due to the chemical action of the silicone oil.
