MIL-0G03545 is a type of liquid organic silane used in rubber production. It is used as a coupling agent to improve adhesion between the rubber and other components such as metal or plastic. It is also used in the production of sealant and adhesive products.
When rubber is exposed to MIL-0G03545, it can suffer from a variety of issues such as swelling, discoloration, or embrittlement. Swelling can occur as the liquid organic silane penetrates the rubber and causes it to expand. Discoloration can also occur as the rubber reacts with the MIL-0G03545. Finally, the rubber can become brittle and prone to cracking or tearing.
