Manganous sulfate, also known as manganese sulphate, is a mineral that is primarily used as a soil fertilizer and feed supplement. It is also used in water purification, as an additive in animal feed, and in the production of some medications. When rubber is exposed to manganous sulfate, it can cause discoloration, cracking and swelling due to oxidation or hydrolysis. If exposed to high concentrations of manganous sulfate, rubber can suffer from accelerated aging and significant loss of strength and elasticity.
Fluorosilicone o-rings are a hybrid of silicone and FKM resulting in great jet fuel resistance with high and low temperature performance. Also widely used in semiconductor Ashing equipment with strong resistance to oxygen plasma, FVMQ fluorosilicone o-rings also feature excellent flexibility, compression resistance, aging and sunlight resistance, and overall wide range of basic chemical resistance.
