Manganese phosphate, also known as manganese sulfate, is a widely used mineral salt in various industries. It is most commonly used in water treatment, as a fertilizer, and in the paper and steel industries. It is also used in the manufacture of dyes, glazes, and glass.
When rubber is exposed to manganese phosphate, it can cause swelling, cracking, and brittleness due to the harsh acidic properties of the chemical. This can lead to a weakening of the material, which can cause the rubber to fail prematurely and lead to costly repairs. Additionally, the chemical can corrode and damage the rubber, making it more prone to failure in the future.
