HOUGHTO0SAFE 1010 PHOSPHATE ESTER Resistant O-Rings and Seals
HOUGHTO0SAFE 1010 Phosphate Ester is also known as tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate, tri-2-ethylhexylphosphate, and octylphenol phosphate. This chemical is commonly used as an additive in lubricants and fuel, as well as a flame retardant for plastics and rubber.
When rubber comes into contact with HOUGHTO0SAFE 1010 Phosphate Ester, it can cause swelling and softening of the material. Additionally, prolonged exposure can also lead to chemical degradation, causing the rubber to become brittle and crack. Furthermore, prolonged contact with the chemical can cause the rubber to become discolored and lose its elasticity.
