HANNIFIN LUBE A is a mineral oil based lubricant also known as lubricating oil or petroleum oil. It is used in industrial applications as a lubricant, coolant, and as a hydraulic fluid in machinery.
When rubber is exposed to HANNIFIN LUBE A, it can cause softening, swelling, and cracking of the rubber material. It can also lead to discoloration and cracking, which can weaken the rubber and cause product failure. In extreme cases, the rubber may become brittle and crack, leading to the release of hazardous chemicals.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
