FISH OIL Resistant O-Rings and Seals
Fish oil is also known as marine oil, omega-3, and omega-6 fatty acids. It is commonly used in the food industry for its anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-oxidant properties. It is also used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries for its health benefits.
When rubber is exposed to fish oil, there is a risk of swelling and softening. This can cause cracking, shrinking, and hardening of the rubber. Additionally, it can cause premature wear and tear, and reduce the effectiveness of the seal. Fish oil can also be extremely difficult to remove from rubber, making it difficult to clean and maintain.
