ELCO 280EP LUBRICANT, also known as polyalkylene glycol (PAG), is a synthetic lubricant commonly used in industrial machinery and automotive applications. It is used to reduce friction and wear between moving parts, as well as to reduce corrosion of metal and other materials.
When rubber materials are exposed to ELCO 280EP LUBRICANT, the most common type of failure is swelling and softening of the rubber. This can lead to the rubber losing its shape and becoming too flexible to seal properly. Additionally, ELCO 280EP LUBRICANT can cause the rubber to become brittle and crack, resulting in leaks. It can also cause the rubber to become discolored and oxidize over time.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
