DOW CORNING 705 is also known as Silicone-Based release agent, and is used as a lubricant, release agent and anti-stick agent in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and medical device manufacturing. When rubber is exposed to DOW CORNING 705, it can cause swelling, cracking, and hardening, leading to eventual failure of the rubber material. In some cases, exposure to DOW CORNING 705 can also cause discoloration or staining of the rubber material.
