Copper ammonium acetate is also known as ammonium cupric acetate and ammonium cupric oxide. It is commonly used as a fungicide and algaecide in various industries such as agriculture and aquaculture.
When rubber is exposed to copper ammonium acetate, it can cause hardening of the rubber due to a reaction between the copper and the rubber material. Additionally, the rubber may become brittle, causing it to crack and tear. In some cases, the rubber may also become stained or discolored.
