CITY SERVICE KOOL MOTOR OIL 140 is a trade name for a mineral oil used in automotive applications. Common uses include engine lubrication, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and hydraulic fluid.
When rubber is exposed to CITY SERVICE KOOL MOTOR OIL 140, the oil can cause the rubber to swell, leading to poor sealing performance and potential failure of the rubber part. Additionally, the oil can cause the rubber to become brittle and crack, leading to further deterioration. In some cases, the oil can cause the rubber to degrade prematurely due to accelerated oxidation, as well as surface damage due to the oil's reactive nature.
