BRET 710 is a synthetic rubber polymer that is used in a variety of industrial applications. It is known for its good resistance to heat and chemicals, and is used for seals, gaskets, and O-rings. Common uses for BRET 710 include automotive, industrial, and aerospace engineering.
When exposed to BRET 710, rubber can suffer from swelling, softening, and cracking due to the presence of organic compounds and other chemicals. Additionally, exposure to high temperatures can cause the rubber to become brittle and degrade, leading to a decrease in the physical properties of the material. Oxidation of the rubber can also occur due to the presence of oxygen in the atmosphere, resulting in further degradation.
EPDM o-rings, or ethylene propylene o-rings, are a family of synthetic elastomers with lower cost steam and chemical resistance, particularly for applications involving solvents, acids and other mild chemicals. Marco Rubber has the world’s largest inventory network of EPDM o-rings and made on demand custom manufacturing often without tooling fees, so the EPDM o-rings you need are always available. Whether it’s for water systems, braking systems, medical, pharmaceutical, food or dairy use, you can count on Marco Rubber to deliver your o-rings fast and efficiently.
