BRAYCO 7190R Resistant O-Rings and Seals
BRAYCO 7190R is a fluorosilicone-based elastomer commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. It is a versatile material known for its excellent resistance to heat, weathering, and chemicals. Common applications include fuel and oil seals, gaskets, and O-rings.
When exposed to BRAYCO 7190R, rubber can suffer from swelling, hardening, and cracking due to the presence of volatile organic compounds and other chemicals. Additionally, the presence of oxygen in the atmosphere can cause oxidation of the rubber, leading to brittleness and cracking. Over-exposure to UV rays can also cause the rubber to degrade, resulting in a decrease in the physical properties of the material.
