AUREX 903R Resistant O-Rings and Seals
AUREX 903R is a non-aromatic, non-toxic mineral oil that is commonly used as an additive in rubber products. Other common names for this mineral oil include AUREX 903R Mineral Oil, Non-Aromatic Mineral Oil, and Non-Toxic Mineral Oil. It is commonly used in rubber products for lubrication, softening, and plasticizing.
When exposed to AUREX 903R, rubber can experience a decrease in its physical properties such as tensile strength, elongation, hardness, and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the rubber may become discolored, softened, and swell, leading to cracking and other forms of physical damage. Higher concentrations of the chemical can lead to more severe damage, such as increased swelling and cracking, as well as complete failure of the rubber component.
