Atlantic UTRO GEAR0E is a synthetic hydrocarbon fluid commonly used as a fire-resistant hydraulic fluid. It is also used as a lubricant in engines and other machinery, as well as a component of some electrical insulating liquids. In the rubber industry, it is mainly used as a plasticizer.
When rubber is exposed to Atlantic UTRO GEAR0E, it could experience a decrease in its physical properties such as tensile strength, elongation, hardness, and abrasion resistance. Additionally, the rubber may become discolored, softened, and swell, leading to cracking and other forms of physical damage. Higher concentrations of the chemical can lead to more severe damage, such as increased swelling and cracking, as well as complete failure of the rubber component.
Viton ® o-rings from Marco Rubber offer excellent compatibility with a range of chemicals, oils and resist high temperatures up to 400F. Viton ® is also known as FKM made of fluoroelastomer one of the most versatile and widely used sealing materials.
