Like the rest of the world, we at Marco Rubber & Plastics are closely monitoring the evolving outbreak, and have implemented steps to maintain operations while complying with public safety recommendations from the CDC and local authorities. Our focus during this time of uncertainty is minimizing business disruption while protecting the health and wellness of our employees, customers, and vendors. Below is an outline of the measures Marco has put in place to keep products and services flowing safely and timely.
We are monitoring and communicating with our global supply network to expose and triage any risks of business interruption. Currently all of our suppliers are operating and shipping close to their regular schedules with few exceptions. While we have not identified significant gaps in our supply yet, this situation is still evolving and changing rapidly. In the event of forced closures or other disruptions to our supply chain, we will work with customers and unaffected suppliers to re-source products where possible. Marco maintains a robust supply network with multiple supplier options for much of our product offering.
Employees that are not critical to the physical handling and quality control of products have been equipped and instructed to work remotely whenever possible. All of Marco’s business-critical systems can be accessed securely through remote connections. Communication with Marco staff should be minimally impacted and we encourage customers to contact us through normal channels.
The Marco offices are being cleaned regularly by a professional cleaning staff. Cleaning supplies have been distributed throughout the office and communal spaces, and employees have been instructed to frequently disinfect their desks and workstations. The offices are currently closed to all non-employees and will remain closed until we receive guidance from the CDC and local authorities that the threat of infection has been mitigated. Employees have been told to stay at home and seek care from a doctor if they are feeling sick or are showing symptoms of illness. We will continue to monitor the rapidly changing situation and will adjust our policies as necessary. As always, we are committed to delivering outstanding service to our valued customers.
