Cobalt plating solution is also known as electroplating solution or electroless plating solution. It is used in a variety of industries such as electroplating, automotive, and aerospace. It is used to plate metal parts with a thin layer of cobalt, which can provide increased resistance to wear and corrosion.
When rubber is exposed to cobalt plating solution, the rubber may suffer from a number of different types of failures. These can include swelling, hardening, cracking, discoloration, and loss of elasticity. In some cases, exposure to cobalt plating solution can cause rubber to break down and degrade over time. The degree of failure often depends on the concentration of cobalt in the plating solution, the type of rubber, and the length of time the rubber is exposed to the solution.
